2022 Successes & Looking Ahead to 2023
As we close out another year, on behalf of the entire Dayton PMI Board, we would like to express our appreciation for YOU – our members! It is your participation and support that made 2022 a wonderful year! Let us reflect on all that we have accomplished together throughout the year in our Chapter. We have worked through the continued challenges of COVID as well as rose to those challenges by meeting virtually with speakers from around the country and the world. Luckily, this year we have been able to connect back in person again! It was great to see familiar faces and new ones too! We hosted multiple in-person networking events throughout the year as well as our Chapter Business Meeting and Member Appreciation Event – all of which brought existing and new members to our Chapter as well as the Dayton community. Our annual Summit in October was a wonderful collaboration again with the Southwest Ohio Chapter and provided a full day of world-class keynote speakers and 3 separate tracks of topics. Additionally, we further fortified our relationships with the University of Dayton, the Dayton Regional STEM School, and Technology First. It was exciting to work with students of all ages as well as organizations throughout Dayton via career fairs, senior projects, student coaching/mentoring, presenting to the UD Project Management Club, as well as sponsoring the Technology First IT Project of the Year. We also continued our partnerships with PM Guerillas and Academy Leadership to offer excellent training opportunities for our members.
I would like to take a moment to thank each of the current PMI Dayton-Miami Valley Board Members for their dedication and leadership to our project management community –
- Coriana Mossburg – VP of Programs
- David Jones – VP of Administration
- Dev Nanda – VP of Outreach
- Michelle Schaefer – VP of Finance
- Rocale Bumpus – VP of Communications
- Shivani McGuire – VP of Professional Development
- Vijay Pasupuleti – Immediate Past President
Looking ahead to 2023, we are fortunate to have the following Board Members volunteering their time and talent –

Include a little bit about what you would be interested in doing and we will connect with you with the right area, such as professional development, communications, our Outreach team, our Finance Committee, Summit Planning Committee, and much more.
Last, but not least, we have an exciting year ahead that we are starting to plan. Be on the lookout for future communications regarding our upcoming events. Visit us at daytonpmi.org for updates, events, and more.
Again, thank you to everyone for making our Chapter successful! May the new year bring you joy, good health, and prosperity! We hope to see you in 2023!
