• Topic: Effective Conflict Resolution Creates More Effective Workplaces
• Managing conflicts in the workplace requires individuals to see another perspective, identify underlying interests, recognize personality differences, recognize cultural difference and effectively communicate during conflicts. This interactive workshop will include brief lectures, group discussions and skill-building activities to address the following questions:
• Why don’t they see it my way?
• What is really motivating their competitive behavior?
• Isn’t there one “correct” way to approach information gathering and decision making?
• What is wrong with treating everyone the same way in the workplace?
• What is the best way to communicate during conflicts?
• How can I anticipate and “stop” conflicts in the workplace?

• Cost: FREE for members; $10 for non-members

Volunteers Needed for the Fall 2017 PMP Exam Course

• The Dayton Miami Valley PMI Chapter Fall PMP/CAPM Certification Course will be taught over five Saturdays: Oct 7, 14, 21, 28, & Nov 4.

• If you are interested in joining the Exam Prep team, please email the VP of Certification – Kelly Brockman at [email protected] – no later than Friday, September 1.
