Abstract: Character and Competence: It's not just what we do, it's HOW we do it
Most people probably believe they must be competent to do their jobs correctly. However, to be truly excellent, competence is not enough; real excellence also requires character. In this presentation, David Bright, Professor of Organizational Behavior and Organization Development at Wright State University, will share his perspective on how to discover and cultivate the attributes of character that are necessary for true excellence, whatever our jobs may be.
About the Speaker
Dr. David Bright is a Professor of Organizational Behavior and Organization Development in the Department of Management and International Business. He joined Wright State University in 2006. He earned a Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio.
