Miami Valley TechFestTM 2016

The Fourteenth Annual Affiliate Societies Council (ASC) TechFestTM 2016 will be held at Sinclair Community College, Dayton, Ohio, Saturday and Sunday, February 13 and 14. Volunteers are needed before, during and after the event.
January Package and deliver flyers for delivery to over 400 schools in Miami Valley. Specific dates for packaging and delivery to be negotiated after January 14. Advocate for TechFest at your local school building or school district. Choose your school. Schedule your own time for phone calls or visits.
February 9-12 Package door prizes or assemble handout bags with programs and maps.
February 13-14 (Sat 10-6) (Sun 11-5) Greet youth and their parents, register youth and handout program bags, enter registration data, hand-out door prize, support speakers. Serve as PM Wizards in the chapter hands-on exhibit on the fundamentals of project management.
After TechFest :Later February Compile data and analyze post project data and lessons learned.
Volunteer Registration is on EventBrite URL https://techfest2016volunteerregistration.eventbrite.com Password: TechFest_2016. Free volunteer tickets are in 2 hour blocks. “Buy” what you want. All tasks are defined in detail and you will receive a ticket with instructions. Certificate of participation will be sent after TechFest.
