Project Management Summit

Speakers Needed

Our goal is to curate outstanding content for our 2018 Summit, titled Peak Performance: A Leadership Summit for Everyone so that our attendees have the opportunity to expand her or his expertise. We are seeking engaging speakers for our 2-day event and would like to invite YOU to apply! Please complete the form, which will then be submitted to the Summit Director. The email address you provide in the form will be the main method of contact through this process.

Proposal deadline is August 27, 2018. All submissions will receive a response via email by September 3, 2018. Speakers may be placed on call as backup speakers should the finalized agenda change.

Summit Dates: Friday, November 9th 2018 and Saturday, November 10th 2018

Time: 8am – 5pm each day

Location: University of Dayton

Our ideal Summit speaker is:

  • Experienced, engaging, and comfortable speaking in front of groups.
  • Passionate about sharing expertise on topics such as leadership, program/project management, business strategy, work-life balance, and change management.

New! Project Management Meet Up

The Dayton Region Manufacturers Association (DRMA) and the Project Management Institute (PMI) Dayton Chapter are teaming up to offer a Meet Up for those in manufacturing who are responsible for any aspect of coordinating and managing projects or programs with engineering or manufacturing content. Topics of discussion will include project lessons learned, best practices, streamlining engineering-to-manufacturing release processes, tools, techniques, methods and other areas of interest about managing projects within your company. The first meet up will be held on August 29 from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., at the Montgomery County Business Solutions Center, exclusively for members of either DRMA or PMI Dayton Chapter. Attendance is FREE, but registration is required.

This PMP/CAPM certification test prep course concentrates on exam content from the new guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®), 6th Edition.
Dates: 35 hours of class time will be taught over five Saturdays. Class dates are 09/29, 10/06, 10/13, 10/20 and 10/27
Cost: $750 for PMI Dayton Chapter members and $850 for non-Dayton Chapter members
