Topic: "CEO's Perspective of Project Management"

In addition to our speaker, we will also discuss have our 2018 year end review as well as introduce our 2019 Board.

 

 

 

 

Speaker Bio:

Hans Gieskes is chairman & non-exec. director / investor for internet companies and active in the M&A world. Since 1985 he has been a successful CEO of both private, public companies and divisions of public companies (e.g. Elsevier, LexisNexis Group, Houghton Mifflin, Monster.com, Cision) in the USA, UK, The Netherlands and Sweden, always leading transformation or turnaround assignments often combined with major re-engineering and / or major M&A transactions (30+ deals, two > $1.6 billion).

As chairman / investor Hans is interested in companies looking to transform the workflow of white collar professionals by combining content, data and services into highly “sticky” and content-rich SaaS software solutions.  He’s currently Chariman for Chartco Ltd.

Hans has been actively involved in monetizing content online since the mid-eighties, and enjoys dealing effectively with Trans-Atlantic organization culture issues. He’s a Dutch citizen, fluent in four languages, living in the Boston (MA) area and is holder of a US Green Card.

Professional Development Units:   All attendees will earn one Professional Development Unit (PDU) (in the area of Strategy) for use towards the Project Management Professional (PMP) recertification.
