Do you want to take the PMP or CAPM certification exam? If so, we recommend all PMP/CAPM applicants take advantage of the excellent PMP Exam Prep Course offered by the PMI Dayton/Miami Valley Chapter. 

 

DESCRIPTION:

This PMP/CAPM certification test prep course concentrates on exam content from the new guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®), 6th Edition. The course provides the required 35 hours of accredited class room training taught by certified Project Management Professionals (PMPs®.) The class uses detailed presentation materials, study aids, and practice quizzes, and our instructors provide up-to-date tips, tricks, and techniques. The course prepares students to pass the exam when augmented with additional outside study.

 

DATES:

The 35 hours of class time will be taught over five Saturdays. Class dates are 09/29, 10/06, 10/13, 10/20 and 10/27.

 

COST:

The fee for this course is $750 for PMI Dayton Chapter members and $850 for non-Dayton Chapter members.

When compared to commercial providers, you will find that the chapter’s fee is less than half the going rate and there is no travel or lodging expenses. The course fee provides each student with the following:

  • Tuition for 5 full days of training
  • Copy of PMBOK® Sixth Edition & Rita Mulcahy’sÔ PMP® Exam Prep, Ninth Edition
  • Study Aids
  • Food (Lunch and snacks)

 

***Note: All registrations submitted by September 07, 2018 will receive a $50 discount on the course fee***

 

PREREQUISITES:

No formal prerequisites exist; however, we do suggest that you become a member of the Dayton/Miami Valley Ohio Chapter. Information for joining the chapter can be found on the chapter website - www.daytonpmi.org

 

LOCATION:

All classes are held at Kettering Government Center, 3600 Shroyer Rd. Kettering, Ohio – NOTE: Location is subject to change.

 

TIME:

8:00am to 4:30pm each Saturday, with 7 hours of training, two 15 minute breaks and 60 minutes for lunch.

 

REGISTRATION:

Registration is now open and will close September 28, 2018. The course tends to fill up so we suggest you register early.

 

Please note that while the "Pay Later" and "Pay at the Door" options displays for this event, these are not options that should be selected when registering for this event. In order to hold your seat for this event, you must complete payment at the time of registering for the event. Please ensure you select the PayPal option when prompted.

 

If you do not select the PayPal option, you will be contacted to make payment and your seat will not be held until we have received your payment. Thank you for your cooperation.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

On or before September 14th, 2018 - No cancellation fee if registration is cancelled via e-mail to certification@daytonpmi.org.

September 15th, 2018 - September 28th, 2018 – $50 cancellation fee if registration is cancelled via e-mail to certification@daytonpmi.org.

After September 28th, 2018 - No refunds will be issued.
